Award winning Decorating at Oakley Hall Hotel
In 2015, SC4 Decorators was Commended in the Painting and Decorating Association's (PDA) Premier Trophy Awards for their painting, wallpapering and other decorating works at Oakley Hall Hotel, Nr Basingstoke, Hampshire.
This country hotel needed internal and external restoration and modernisation throughout. The work was done under a subcontract to the main contractor, Cove Construction. Following minor repair the exterior was repainted. Internally, following plaster repair and stain blocking, the areas were brought forward for decoration and paper hanging. The waxing of the staircase was especially noted for its finish by the Premier Trophy Award judges. A very tight programme to ensure stated opening times was strictly adhered to. The finished work is in keeping with the expected clientele visiting the hotel.
Reading Town Hall - Intricate Decorating Works
In 2019, the SC4 Decorators team completed the challenging interior decoration as part of the extensive refurbishment of Reading Town Hall by our client, Mears Group.
Decorating at Phoenix Avenue, Wokingham
In 2017, SC4 Decorators carried out the painting and decorating works for 48 houses and 20 flats for social housing, rent and sale for principal contractor Hill Partnerships at Phoenix Avenue, Wokingham.

SC4 Decorators has performed very well on both of these large projects in 2017-18 for which I was the Senior Contract Surveyor.
They have managed and supervised their operatives very well in terms of quality of work, correct labour levels as and when required, general house-keeping was excellent and John Norton kept in constant contact with both our contracts manager and site manager throughout the project on a regular basis.
They attended every site progress meeting without fail and were very helpful with regards to overcoming problems on site with minimal fuss.
From a commercial perspective they were within budget, minimal variations and the final account was a smooth process.
I would highly recommended SC4 Decorators to anyone who wishes to use a reliable, easy to work with painting and decorating contractor who go above and beyond to ensure each project they complete is just as successful as the last.
