180+ Homes at Ludgershall (Phases 1-5)
In 2017 and 2018, SC4 Carpenters carried out the Carpentry works on all 5 Phases of the homes built at Granby Gardens, Ludgershall, near Andover, Hampshire, for principal contractor, Foreman Homes.
With works ongoing in 2018, the Commercial Manager of Foreman Homes described SC4 Carpenters Ltd as a "Very friendly and professional outfit. Always willing to help out and try and problem solve with us."
The 181 homes include a mixture of homes for private sale, shared ownership and housing association rented accommodation.
SC4's carpenters received high praise from NHBC/Building Control for installation of the roofs for the 2-4 bed homes.
The NHBC report described the roof works as having "excellent additional support at valley positions and to the overhang of the diminishing trusses and a fillet piece of timber was fitted under the larger diminishing trusses to give full support. Wall plates had been half lapped at joints and the traditional cut roof elements had been done very accurately. There was excellent lateral restraint/holding down straps provided to all spandrel panels (both sides)."
The NHBC also noted that there had been a "consistent team of carpenters with good accountability and excellent supervision."
Walworth Road - Carpentry for 82 Newbuild Homes
From 2019-2021, SC4 Carpenters Ltd provided contract Carpentry services for construction of a Foreman Homes development of 82 new build terraced, semi detached and detached homes with in Andover, Hampshire. The project included installation of extensive cladding to provide the beautiful finish for these fabulous new homes. This followed on from the Landfall project from 2016-18, just across the road.
85 new-build houses and flats in Oakley
SC4 provided Carpentry and Decorating services to Foreman Homes for 85 new-build houses and flats in Oakley, Basingstoke from 2019-2021. The Commercial Manager at Foreman Homes described SC4 as a:
