Simon Mead, Associate Director
Simon Mead was promoted to the position of Associate Director at SC4 in November 2025. This is a key leadership role recognizing Simon’s 15-year tenure, operational expertise, and instrumental contributions to the Contracts team.
A Foundation Built on Expertise
Simon’s career journey with SC4 is an incredible testament to the power of hands-on expertise. He started on site over 15 years ago as a highly experienced site carpenter and timber frame erector, skills that provided him with an unparalleled understanding of the operational needs of our projects.
The Rise Through Contracts
Bringing that invaluable hands-on knowledge into management, Simon officially joined our Contracts team as a Contracts Manager in 2014. He quickly proved his leadership capabilities and commitment to operational excellence, earning a promotion to Senior Contracts Operations Manager in 2022.
In every role, Simon has been integral to the successful delivery of our contracts and the growth of our team.
Role Responsibilities and Future Focus
As Associate Director, Simon will transition from a primary focus on day-to-day contracts operations to a broader strategic leadership role critical to SC4's continued expansion.
- Strategic Leadership: Provide senior-level input and leadership across the Contracts and Operations departments to ensure alignment with SC4's growth objectives.
- Operational Excellence: Leverage deep knowledge of site operations, timber frame erection, and contracts management to optimize project delivery processes.
- Team Growth & Development: Play a key role in the continued expansion and development of the contracts and operations teams in the coming years.
- Company Representation: Act as a senior representative of SC4, upholding our standards for quality and professionalism in all internal and external dealings.
- Value Contribution: Provide continued valuable contributions through high-level decision-making and mentorship.
