SC4 Completes A-rated Eco Home in just 7 Months
SC4 Carpenters Ltd completed the turnkey construction of this timber frame, timber clad, eco home in just 7 months.
Our clients were delighted with the service provided and that their home is "98 A" rated for its Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).
And we are proud to deliver on our promise of a high quality service, delivered on time and on budget.
The Project
This Eco Sustainable wooden bungalow is based on a variation of a Scottish long house, but with modern technology. The finished home is a warm, efficient, bright, spacious and comfortable place to live. This home is all electric with multiple eco and sustainable features including air source heat pump (ASHP), solar photovoltaic panels (PV) and storage battery, and a mechanical ventilation and heat recovery (MVHR) system.

Our turnkey service
SC4 Carpenters Ltd is ideally suited for this type of build. We have 18 years experience building in timber frame and have the technical knowledge and dedication to provide a high quality service, safely, on time and on budget.
Our management team are always available to oversee the build and our qualified and experienced site staff are approachable and conscientious.
SC4 project manage the whole process, solving any issue that arise.
Timber frame installation, carpentry and decorating services are provided by our in-house team, and we worked with specialist third party contractors for other aspects of the build. Our flexible approach meant that we can identify and appoint contractors ourselves, as well as manage the work of our clients’ preferred suppliers for various aspects of the build.
