Conventional construction methods have become the failsafe choice for most building projects, yet modern engineering and architecture has enabled the construction of timber framed housing instead. For decades, most homes in the UK have been built using conventional construction methods, with assembly starting from the ground upwards using brick, stone, plaster, or stucco.

Congratulations and thank you to all our subcontractors who helped erect the timberframe for Taylor Lane at North Stoneham Park. From March 2018 to August 2019, SC4 erected 250 NEW BUILD houses and flats for timberframe manufacturer, Taylor Lane, at the Highwood site, North Stoneham Park. Throughout the project our team has overcome all the challenges without issues.
